Blue Heritage Plaques from Buckhurst Hill Parish Council
Blue Heritage Plaques are popping up around Buckhurst Hill Parish Council bringing a real sense of history and intrigue.
A blue plaque is a permanent sign installed in a public place to commemorate a link between that location and a famous person, event, or former building on the site, serving as a historical marker.
We are actively installing blue plaques to create a real sense of history across the Parish. The Council also has a real desire to open up aspects of Buckhurst Hill’s heritage and make it better known and valued.
The location of the plaques and also the inscription of each can be found here.
The Council welcomes new applications for plaques, please contact us at office@buckhursthillpc.gov.uk
