Library Closure

Following the Government guidance regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, the Parish Council has considered the risk and benefit to the community and its staff of opening the Library on its managed days of Monday and Wednesday.

The difficult decision has been made to keep the library closed on Monday and Wednesday until the risk of the virus is reduced/contained.

The reasons for the closure is that the provision is non-essential and it may encourage a number of vulnerable people from our community (including our staff) to attend and socialise unnecessarily.

Mrs E.P. Petyt-Start
